BIOGRAPHY
Mario Pavesi was born on 5 August 1945 in Guastalla (Reggio Emilia).
After high school he enrolled at the Fine Arts Academy in Bologna where he studied Sculpture under Umberto Mastroianni. During that time, he met sculptor, Dante Carpigiani, who together with painter, Vivaldo Poli, would become two pillars in his human and artistic experience. Over his forty years of activity, he has undertaken various routes with his pictorial and sculptural works, always away from the logic of the market and the fashion of the moment and close to the emotional sphere, in the relentless pursuit of inner peace. Besides his artwork, he is currently dedicating himself to an intense educational activity, teaching courses at various levels. He lives and works in Novellara, in the province of Reggio Emilia.
